While expressing his expectations for Paraguay, he also urged the preservation of the value of soccer.

The 2030 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, is highly anticipated as a competition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the World Cup. Most matches will be split between Spain, Portugal and Morocco, but Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay will each play the opening match to commemorate South America's role in commemorating the 100th anniversary of the World Cup.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first World Cup held in Uruguay in 1930, FIFA decided to hold one match each in the three South American countries of Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay at the 2030 FIFA World Cup. President Infantino explained, "I made this decision because I thought it was unique as it was commemorating the 100th anniversary of the World Cup and that history should be remembered," and added, "I expect the 2030 FIFA World Cup will truly unite the world."

President Infantino said, “We always say, ‘There is magic in soccer.’ Soccer has the power to unite people from all over the world with the same emotions. In that sense, we must protect the values of soccer,” adding, “All of us.” He emphasized, “The values that have grown together with the values of everyone who plays soccer, organizes soccer, and watches soccer are the same everywhere in South America, North America, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and Europe.”

“I look forward to bringing young people together in a sport that has a unique, incredible history and an incredible future,” he continued. “In a time of conflict, war and terrorism around the world, we need something to unite people. “It is necessary, and I am convinced that there is nothing better than football to bring people together.”

Meanwhile, President Infantino also mentioned the issue of racism in soccer, which will be a key topic at the 74th FIFA General Assembly scheduled to be held in Thailand in May. He said, "Just as we must resolve to fight against the violence that exists in the world, the violence that exists in football, we must resolve to do this and move together." His words.
