Daegu FC recruits 6 additional rookies for the 2024 season

 Daegu FC's recruitment of new players is picking up steam.


Following the recent recruitment of 9 rookie players, 6 additional rookie players were recruited this time. As the team will participate in the K3 League along with the K League 1 in the 2024 season, it is interpreted as a strategy to strengthen the player base with a focus on young players.

The players that Daegu added this time are Min-seop Kim (18), Se-min Park (21), Hyun-jun Kim (21), Jeong-hyeon Kim (23), Min-young Kim (23), and Ji-min Lim (21). They dream of revitalizing the Daegu FC B team, which was promoted to the K3 League, while also making their debut on the K League 1 stage.

Midfielder Kim Min-seop is excellent at aggressive dribbling and breaking pressure in the midfield. Park Se-min (attacker) has the advantage of penetration ability based on fast speed and sharp shooting.

Defender Kim Hyun-jun has excellent man-to-man defense and is precise with his feet, while Kim Jeong-hyeon (midfielder) stands out for his vigorous activity and stable defensive ability.

Kim Min-young (attacker)'s strength is that he uses his quick feet to penetrate the back space to score goals. Jimin Lim (defender) is skilled in linking play with his teammates with active movement and sharp crosses.

Since the 12th, they have joined the training camp in Namhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, where Daegu FC B team is training, and are keeping up with existing players.

    ‘K League goalkeeper’ Kim Young-kwang (41) announced his retirement from active duty. Jeong Kwan Jang coach Ko Hee-jin

 Coach Hee-jin Ko looked back on the game.  Cheong Kwan-Jang Red Sparks lost 0-3 (18-25, 19-25, 19-25) against Heungkuk Life Insurance Pink Spiders in the third round of the 2023-2024 season V-League playoffs held at Samsan Gymnasium in Incheon on the 26th.  After the game, coach Ko Hee-jin said, "Congratulations to Heungkuk Life Insurance on advancing to the championship.
