The media explained, "Kwon Soon-woo smashed his racket on the court and chair several times and shattered it, and the crowd cheered and booed at the same time," adding, "Kwon Soon-woo even refused to shake hands with his opponent, Samrez, and the referee."

Hong Kong's South China Morning Post (SCMP) reported, "Kwon Soon-woo hit the racket hard and broke it after it was confirmed that he lost to an opponent more than 500 steps high in the world ranking."
